Facebook Integration Facebook Integration

Part of Facebook's tremendous growth is directly attributable to the open nature of their operations.  Early in their growth curve, they came to the realization that they did not have the resources or ability to write every application that their users would want or need.  So, they opened their API (application programming interface) and allowed people outside of Facebook to create applications that speak to and interact with the Facebook platform.  Users of Facebook are very familiar with applications developed by Twitter or Last.FM which work directly in conjunction with Facebook.

Hinutech takes advantage of the openness of Facebook and allows for the integration of our application with Facebook.  What does this mean?  Users can add pieces of your site directly into their Facebook profile so that they don't even need to visit your site to consume your information or interact with each other.

For example, we have made the Hinutech Network Blogs into a Facebook application.  If you visit that page and scroll to the bottom of the blogs, you will see a button that says "Add to Facebook".  When users click that button, they will be redirected to a page which will allow them to add the application to their profile.
